Rosita Fibbi is a professor at the University of Lausanne and is a coordinator of the Swiss Forum for the Study of Migration and Population at the University of Neuchâtel.
Originally from Italy, she has lived in Switzerland for over thirty years. An ideal life course to try to understand the complex phenomenon of immigration.
Her primary research interests are the sociology of migration, migration policy, immigrant associations, social work with migrants. Migration and life cycle: young people from migration, intergenerational relationships, and elderly migrants.
