This session focuses on leadership opening to opportunities in the global environment. Such openness requires the capacity to harness ideas and innovation within the organization but also to work with stakeholders. We will discuss the cognitive, strategic and political challenges that support such organisational capacity to innovate. We will also consider what makes organizations strategically resilient, that is, able to shape environmental change and be reflective of their innovation impact. The participants learn about, and apply, participatory architectures and multivocality, two concepts that inform leadership seeking to ideate, experiment and innovate their strategy, organisational design and environmental impact.
