Tania Ogay

Biography

Tania Ogay is associate professor in ‘Educational and Training Anthropology’ in the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), where she is in charge of a Master’s programme in Intercultural and Comparative Education. With a degree in Psychology (University of Lausanne) and a doctorate in Educational Sciences (University of Geneva), she undertook a post-doctorate sabbatical at UCSB (University of California in Santa Barbara), and spent one year at UQAM (University of Quebec in Montreal). Her academic interests lie in intercultural communication in training contexts and intercultural training for professionals (especially teachers).  She is currently particularly interested in building a relationship between the school and families when children go to nursery school.
