Is it adequate to say that Intercultural Communication is not yet an academic discipline in its own right, but perhaps a discipline in the making, somewhere in between interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity? Could you elaborate on this and maybe tell us also something about how Intercultural Communication has developed as a field of study?
